Editorial Policy

Nuvolk publishes a small number of pieces about field service management software for operations running one to ten technicians. This page describes who is accountable for them and how mistakes are handled.

The evaluation method itself — scope, criteria, sourcing, and how affiliate commissions are measured against ranking — lives on How We Evaluate. That page is canonical. It is not restated here, because a policy maintained in two places is a policy that will eventually contradict itself.

Accountability

Pieces are signed by Nuvolk Insights, the editorial entity. The responsible editor is Roger Mat, who is a real person and the only person who writes here.

That describes a role, not a qualification. You will not find “certified,” “specialist,” “senior,” or a claimed number of years attached to anyone on this site, because none has been established. There is no external reviewer credited anywhere, because there is no external reviewer.

Nothing here is a recommendation to buy under terms you have not read. For a system that will run your scheduling and your invoicing, read the contract yourself.

Use of AI

No asset containing a number, a label, or a factual claim is generated by an image model. There are no photographs and no illustrations on this site at all — the design is typography, space, rule and table, which is a design decision and also removes the question.

There is no AI-generated likeness of the editor anywhere, and no invented author, reviewer, or contributor.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, email us. We review reports within seven days.

Corrections are made in the piece and logged with the date and a description of what changed. We do not silently edit a published claim. A correction that changes the conclusion of a piece is noted at the top of it.

Expiry

Every piece carries the date its facts were last checked against their sources, rendered at the top rather than buried. Where a piece quotes a price, the site refuses to publish it once that date is more than ninety days old, and warns for a month before that. This is enforced in the build, not by a reminder in someone’s calendar.

A date on this site means the sources were re-read on that date. It does not mean the file was touched.

Independence

Vendors have no input on what is covered or what is concluded, and no vendor sees a piece before publication. Order is never influenced by commission.
