Editorial Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

Nuvolk publishes a small number of articles about employer benefits and personal finance mechanics. This page describes how they are made and what standards they are held to.

Sourcing

Anything involving contribution limits, eligibility rules, or tax treatment is sourced from the primary document — the IRS revenue procedure, publication, or form — and cited by number. We do not paraphrase another site’s summary of a rule and present it as the rule.

Where a rule is ambiguous, disputed, or has changed recently, the article says so and gives the date of the change. Secondary sources are used to find out what people are confused about. They are never the authority on what the rule is.

Original Work

Articles are built around simulations we construct. When two accounts are compared, we build the spreadsheet, run the scenarios, and publish the file alongside the article.

Every chart links to the data behind it. If you disagree with an assumption, open the source file, change it, and see what happens.

Use of AI

Charts and any asset containing a number, label, or factual claim are generated from real data using ordinary tools — a spreadsheet or a plotting library — never by an image model. We do not publish AI-generated images of people, and there is no AI-generated likeness of the editor anywhere on this site.

Credentials

No credentials are claimed on this site. Roger Mat is Founder & Editor — that describes a role, not a qualification. You will not find “certified,” “specialist,” or a claimed number of years of experience attached to anyone here, because none has been established.

Nothing on Nuvolk is financial advice, and nothing is personalized to your situation. What we offer is careful reading of primary sources and simulations you can inspect. For decisions that matter, talk to a licensed professional.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, email us. We review reports within seven days.

Corrections are made in the article and logged with the date and a description of what changed. We do not silently edit a published claim. A correction that changes the conclusion of an article is noted at the top of it.

Independence

Advertisers and affiliate partners have no input on what we cover or what we conclude. See the Affiliate Disclosure for how commercial relationships are handled and marked.

Who Runs This

Nuvolk is written and edited by Roger Mat, Founder & Editor, who also runs Nuxpik and PeakFormGuide — three independent sites, one person, the same editorial method.
